The first thing that i will comment is the food available in the cafeteria. The cafeteria in the UTAR setapak has more variety of foods when compared to the cafeteria in UTAR PJ. However, the workers in Pj are way more friendly than those sour-faced workers in setapak. When in pj, the worker will at least smile at u when u buy the food at their cafeteria (especially the jovial uncle) but here in setapak, u can hardly see any one of them smiling at u. If u are lucky to find one, it’s either u have eyesight problem or maybe the worker is overstress and thus smile for no reason. Some of the food served are really nice while some taste like garbage (for example:noodle with thai sauce. Avoid this food at all cost if u value your money).
Next will be the library. The library in setapak is the worst library i ever went to. Even the national library is way better than it. The air con don’t seem like functioning and its really hot inside the library. If blind people were to enter this room, they will thought that they were inside a sauna room.
So far, the lecture were just ok. The lecturer of the subjects that i don’t like are mathematics for engineering and dynamics. Both lecturers for the both subjects have no patience at all. They are teaching for the sake of finishing the syllabus and not to teach the students to fully understand the concept behind the subjects. I hate it when this kind of thing happen. Come on, my parents pay thousand of ringgit for the tuition fee and it’s not like they volunteer themselves foc. Pengajian Malaysia is another problem. I thought that i can forget all about the history after leaving the secondary school but now, i’ll have to face it all over again.
Lastly is the travelling cost to and fro from my house to UTAR. I have to spent RM 11 a day just to travel (i take bus and LRT) and u can imagine how much i would spend on transport alone for the entire degree course. Hence, my slogan for this year is ‘Bye bye money, hello suffering’.
