Worst Food Poisoning Ever

Oyster. Damn you little harmless looking oyster. Last Sunday, my family and I pit stop at Melaka after celebrating Mother’s Day with my grandmother, and somehow we decided to give that little damn oyster a try. Everything was fine on Monday until the midnight on that day, i felt very nausea inside my stomach. I thought it was because I’m hungry already and hence, no big deal, go back to sleep. Few minutes later, I suddenly got the urge to vomit and I immediately ran to the toilet bowl to vomit out all my dinner. And my… that’s one big waterfall coming out from my mouth. Once it ends, i thought that’s the last of it. Who knew, my body prepare something more for me. Few minutes again after vomiting, I went to toilet again because of diarrhea. Another big waterfall from the other end.

The next morning, I tried eating my breakfast and hopefully everything will be okay now.

Nope. Not at all. I vomit again all my breakfast contents, follow by another diarrhea. And because of this, I applied for MC to just rest at home. It was one torturing day. Every liquid or solid that I consume, immediately release through either of one end. So basically, my body didn’t manage to digest anything yesterday and I felt really weak. My body enter a full defense mode, rejecting any kind of intake that it assume to be poison. It was very tiring but today, at least my condition got better.

My mom cook porridge for me because of my request (thanks mom!) and after the whole day of not able to eat anything, eating porridge is like the greatest reward ever. I’m not a fan of porridge, but not for this day. Porridge is the coolest, at least for these few days, haha.

Hopefully I’ll recover from this soon as my marathon is around the corner. ><

Due Diligence in Times Square

This is my first time doing due diligence, due to the following reason:

1) Get to gain new experience

2) Learn something about defects in building

and the most important of all…

3) Can claim OT and the pay rate is double. There’s no better motivator than money, haha.

I know that the work will be tiring but I didn’t expect it to be freaking tiring. At the end of the day, my feet was crying silently while my head activated headache mode because I drank less water during the whole day. And the interesting part for the day is that when we do inspection inside the retail shop, the people working there thought that we’re still students and we’re on a field trip. Even the maintenance guy, who need to follow us around when we do inspection, asked us whether are we still a student when he first met us. Couldn’t blame them though, since we were wearing company’s T-shirt, jeans and carrying huge bagpack. Even for me, when I looked at our attire, I thought we were playing treasure hunt or explorace. That’s the end for today. Just one more Saturday to go.

Funniest Book Ever! =D

20140512_223626

Finally I managed to got this book for myself! (using my sis’s book coupon, XD)

One of the best book I’ve read and by far, the funniest too. I haven’t finish reading it yet and it’s kinda hard to put this book down because it’s just simply funny, haha. Gotta love Ellen and her sense of humour. Enough said, back to reading the book. =D

1509692_10201369482833009_6474277311923720265_n

Celebrated a secondary school friend’s wedding yesterday and in a way, it’s also a small reunion gathering. It was my first time going to a malay wedding and it is a one of a kind experience. Congrats Latifah for your wedding and though most of us didn’t have the chance to talk much with you, all the best to you as you embark on a new journey with your loved one. =)
