Posts on FB

I used facebook to chill out and release stress by playing
the games in it but sometimes, I do get annoyed by this certain people who just
can’t stop update some stupid stuffs about their life. It’s cool to post up
minor stuff and I’m not against it, but please think before you press the ‘Enter’
button.

1st type that I hate is when people post up to
said that they are hungry. Seriously?? If you hungry just grab some snacks or
anything and go fill your stomach. Do you have to actually post this every time
you feel hungry?? Like, come on, we are not going to deliver you some food
after reading your pathetic post. Another annoying part is when the person posts
up another status, saying that they are really full, after that hungry post.

2nd: imagine that you stay up late at night,
trying to finish up the assignments or studying for the coming tests. You drank
extra cans of Nescafe to keep yourself awake for the night and after finish all
that work, you log into facebook to relax. And the first post that you see is
people complaining that they can’t sleep. It takes a strong willpower to stops
yourself from punching them to sleep forever. Please stop posting stuff like “Haiz,
still can’t sleep… Haiz, 4 days got insomnia..” It’s very insensitive to the hybrid
like us.

3rd: sometimes you can obviously know whether
that person did study for the test or not. So when the person who did study but
choose to post up stuff like “Wah, I haven’t study anything yet! Die liao!” or “I
haven’t touched any chapter!! T.T”, they are the one who usually end up with
flying colours. These fakers really makes you feel like want to put them to
sleep too.

Final exam, so fast come and visit ah?

This sem going to end pretty soon, and the brain-jamming
session is just around the corner. If compared to last semester, this semester
can still consider okay. I think I can stay alive till the end. The subjects I
worry the most are Reinforced concrete design and Fluid mechanics 2. For
reinforced concrete subject, I’ve been learning it for almost 13weeks already
and the only thing I can remember about this subject is the lecturer’s name and
the introduction part. Kinda cool since this subject is a major one.

On the other hand, the fluid mechanics is totally gone case.
There are so many nonsense and weird equations and theorem. Seeing this crappy equations
make me think that the olden day people really have so much free time in their hand
to create this stuff. I mean, look at the generation today. You don’t see any
of them simply come up with weird equations and you know why? Cause we are a
very busy generation with lots of stuff in our hand; facebook, youtube, msn,
twitter, etc. We simply don’t have time for equation or theorem stuff.
Conclusion: Internet brings MORE benefit than harm.

I did try to start to revise on the fluid mechanics subject
but after looking at the lecture notes, my expression was like..

Oh yeah! I’m so ready for the final!!!

Teen Choice Award and Younha ^^

The recent Teen Choice Award just ended and guess who was
one of the special guest? It was Avril Lavigne!!!! The coolest female singer
out there and she look absolutely stunning!  (Not to be mistaken, BoA is the coolest Asian
female singer!!) There’s a hint of elegance, a bit of gothic-theme, and she’s
simply gorgeous and hot-looking without exposing too much skin, unlike the
young and new singers nowadays.   Here are some pictures taken during that
event, and I got it from a fan page in facebook.

Her sharp gaze is really chilling, in a good way.

Wow, she looks so  beautiful!! ^^

BoA is keeping a low profile now. There’s not much news
about her lately and I kinda miss her presence and have been waiting for so
long for her new single or album… So while waiting for it, I listened to other Korean
and Japanese songs as the alternatives and I found another nice singer; Younha.
After listened to a few songs sung by her, I immediately got addicted by it and
forced a friend to help me download some of her albums. She has an awesome
voice and I did check out her music videos in youtube and she was so adorable
in them. It was hard to find a singer like her, she sing using her own voice
without any auto tune, no weird group dancing, and no skimpy clothing. Just
pure talent. If you haven’t hear any of her song, try search for it. It’s
really worth the effort.

She looks really cool toooo =D

A girl who couldn’t hear

Yesterday, on the way back home, I got in on the wrong train
and so, I stop at the Chan Sow Lin station to wait for the Ampang line. A
little girl stops at the same station too and waited for the Ampang line as
well.  Judging from her appearance and
look, I guess she’s around 8-10 years old and is a Filipino. We were sitting at
the same bench when a Chinese girl (teenager) came over and asked the Filipino
what’s the destination for the next train. Before the Chinese girl could
complete her sentence, the Filipino girl smiled, pointed to her ear and makes
the gesture that said, “I can’t hear”. She then immediately passed her
handphone to her and makes the typing gesture. The Chinese girl got the signal
and she typed her question by using the SMS function. From there onward, both
of them communicate by typing the question/answer on the phone. At first, I
wanted to interrupt them and just tell the Chinese girl what she wants but I
was afraid that by doing so, I’ll indirectly insult that little girl.

After few minutes of exchanging the message and the phone,
the train arrived and I pretend like I never observe what they were doing and
just enter the train. The little girl came in later and was standing near the
door and she’s still holding her handphone in her hand. Maybe it’s not the
first time people had asked her questions and most probably the reason she holds
it in her hand is for such cases.

It’s sad to see someone that young but couldn’t enjoy the beautiful
sounds around them. You wouldn’t know how your parent’s voice sound like, you
wouldn’t know the reason why laughter can bring joy, how songs supposed to
sound like and the worst thing is you can’t even hear your own voice. And there
is still so much thing in life that can only be experience through the hearing
sense. Soon after meeting her, I didn’t know how much I have taken my hearing
sense for granted. It’s hard to imagine to live a day without sounds and I
really glad that there’s nothing wrong with my hearing, otherwise no more BoA’s
songs for me T.T

So, appreciate with what you have right now. You can
complain about how big is your eyebag after a few sleepless nights but there’s always
someone out there who doesn’t even have the privilege to see.

Wanna share this meaningful quote, “I used to complain I had no shoes
until I met a man with no feet.”
