Use Time For Your Own

Few days ago, there are times when we discussed about staying back late in the office to work overtime, whether is it a good thing or not. Whether will the company see you as an extremely hardworking person or individual with lack of proper time management. One of the point is about the posting on fb, about the guy comparing the individual that go back on time and individual that always work overtime. So we been using that point to make fun with. We keep on saying that people who stay back in office have no life while people that go back early have very interesting life. After saying that, we asked each other, what do you do once you go back home. And most of our answers are watching tv, drama, youtube or just simply surfing fb. Then I replied that maybe the one that go back early also don’t have real life at all since all the time spent is in front of a screen. Not much different with the people in office, who is also looking at the screen at the same time as us. Then my colleague mentioned that our secretary once told him, the most important thing is who you are using the time for. When you work over time, you’re using your limited time for the company, not for yourself. But if you go back home and spent the whole night surfing the web, it’s not consider as ‘no life’ because the main point is that you’re using the time for yourself. That’s the reason why she always go back on time and I really never thought of it that way.

We only have 24 hours a day. 7 hours spent on sleeping and another 8 hours spent in office. After excluding the time taken for travelling and other minor tasks (eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc), will you still spend the remaining time doing work in office? At least now I don’t feel like I’m wasting my time watching video and play games. =D

Make You Move DVD

I don’t normally buy original movie DVD but when I do, it’s because my favourite idol is staring in that movie. ^^

I was walking around the mall and when I pass by a video store, suddenly I got tempted to just walk in and look around. As I was looking from shelf to shelf, lo and behold, her DVD is sitting at a corner and bang! I know I have to have it. I watched once in cinema but when you have BoA in it, watching once is never enough. BoA rocks!! =D

“Gravity” and “The Executioner”

These are the two novels that I mentioned in previous post and as you can see, I managed to get the books at a very cheap price. One thing for sure, it definitely worth a lot more than that price tag. The authors wrote the story so well that you can feel like you are standing there witnessing the whole thing unfolds.

‘Gravity’ is about a microorganism, which is sent over to the space station for experiment purposes and it turns out that the organism can infects and evolve at the same time. Got to admit that the story does scare me, especially about how the organism kills its victim one by one. ><

One word to describe “The Executioner”: Disturbing. If you look at the cover of the novel, the bloody lines is how the killer mark his victim. Each line represent the order and the number of his victim. And every victim was killed based on his/her own worst nightmare. One example, a priest’s head was chopped off and replaced with a dog’s head, exactly like his nightmare. Disturbing and creepy ><
